How long are English test scores valid?
Most standardized English test scores (IELTS, PTE, TOEFL) are valid for exactly 2 years from the date of the test. The Duolingo English Test is also valid for 2 year duration.
Can I retake the test if I don't achieve my target score?
Yes! There are generally no restrictions on how many times you can retake IELTS, PTE, or Duolingo. PTE and Duolingo offer particularly fast turnaround times, allowing you to rebook and retake within days if necessary.
